Jo Brand, Celeste, and Many More Names Added To Your Latitude 2020 Line Up!

There’s now less than five months to go until Latitude 2020, and we’ve got even more new names joining your line up!

Celeste, Rina Sawayama, Jo Brand, Bernardine Evaristo, and more will be appearing in Henham Park this summer.

They’ll be joining previously announced headliners Haim, Liam Gallagher, The Chemical Brothers, Bill Bailey and Simon Amstell at the 15th anniversary of Latitude on 16th-19th July.

You might know her from QI, Have I Got News For You, or hosting The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice. That’s right: your third Latitude 2020 comedy headliner is the one and only Jo Brand! Having begun her career in the 80’s, Jo is a veteran of UK comedy, and has established herself as one of Britain’s best loved comics. Multi-talented Jo has also written several best selling books and has performed in London’s West End. She’s a national treasure, and we can’t wait to welcome her back to Latitude!

Brit award winning singer-songwriter Celeste will be taking to the Obelisk Arena on Sunday! Celeste has been writing songs since she was 16, and her soulful vocals have been compared to the likes of Amy Winehouse and Adele. She has already toured with Michael Kiwanuka and won BBC’s Sound Of 2020 poll, so prepare for her to take over the airwaves. This is your chance to catch one of the most hotly tipped talents of the year. Don’t miss out!

Other music names joining your Latitude 2020 line up are singer-songwriter Rina Sawayama, indie folk singer Angie McMahon, alt-pop group Cub Sport, and feminist punks Big Joanie.

Sophie Duker will be joining Jo Brand in the Comedy Arena, while the Girls On Film podcast comes to The Listening Post.

Meanwhile, the literary line up is shaping up to be one of Latitude’s best yet, as Terri White, Emma Gannon and Emma Jane Unsworth will all be discussing their latest works. Fresh from her historic Booker Prize win, with her extraordinary novel ‘Girl, Woman, Other’, Bernadine Evaristo will be in conversation with Kate Mosse, the Founder Director of Women’s Prize For Fiction. Also, ‘Feminists Don’t Wear Pink’ author Scarlett Curtis will host a live edition of digital book club #ReadingWomen.
