What WE are doing to Look Out for Our Planet at Latitude Festival.

Energy

The festival is powered with Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) fuel which is 100% fossil-fuel free.

Travel

We encourage everyone travelling to Latitude Festival to consider low-carbon travel options such as public transport.

Plastic

We are reducing single use plastic. Water and soft drinks are served in cans, our cups are paper, and no virgin single use plastic is used (any plastic we have is made from recycled content).

All food packaging and cutlery is 100% compostable.

Bulk condiment bottles must be used by our food vendors instead of single-use sachets.

Recycling

We provide bins across the festival to separate waste and encourage recycling.

A 10p deposit is included on cups, cans, and bottle sales to encourage their return for recycling.

We provide free recycling bags to all campers, and run our Recycle to Win Initiative, entering customers who recycle and keep clean camps into an amazing prize draw.

We redistribute leftover food to food banks.

Our Look Out for Our Planet campaign invites everyone who attends Latitude Festival to join us and make sustainability a shared priority.

Travel Green

Choose green travel options like public transport or car sharing. It’s a great way to start your festival adventure sustainably!

Pack Smart

When packing ready for the festival weekend, remember to pack wisely and only bring essential items. Check out what you can and can’t bring here.

Thank you for taking your tents home with you.

If you want to hire a tent rather than bring your own, Pink Moon offer pre-pitched tents.

If you have any broken tents chairs, gazebos or empty batteries, please take them to the Recycling Points.

Unopened non-perishable foods can be donated at the campsite AirHubs.

Enter Recycle to Win!

As part of our Look Out for Our Planet campaign, we are giving away some amazing prizes to people who are actively recycling in the campsites!

Our Green Team are handing out recycling (green) and non-recycling (clear) bags in the campsites, and you can also collect them from recycling points. Make sure to set your campsite up at the start.

When you bring your full bags to a recycling point and see a member of the Green Team, you can enter the prize draw.

Use the Bar Return Points

All paper cups, bottles and cans bought in the arena at Latitude will have a 10p refundable deposit included in the price. Help us recycle these items and use the bar return points. A minimum five items (50p) per return.

WEEKEND RETURN COACH

Choose to arrive on Thursday or Friday. All coaches will return on Monday, hassle-free. You won’t need to worry about being the designated driver or relying on public transport connections.
