To help you to get ready for a weekend of festival fun at Latitude in just a few days time we’ve pulled together this handy FAQ.

Read on to find out all of the important information you need to know for Latitude 2019, including travel info, opening times, what you can/can’t bring, set times and much more.

What time does the box office open?

  • Thursday 11.00 – 0.00
  • Friday 9.00 – 00:00
  • Saturday Sunday 09:00 – 21.00

Gates & wristband exchanges run 24 hours from 2pm Thursday until Sunday. Outside of box office hours customers wishing to collect can do so from the wristband exchanges.

My ticket hasn’t arrived yet, what can I do?

Please contact the ticket agent that you bought your ticket(s) from. If you booked your ticket with Ticketmaster/Front Gate please call 0333 003 5937. If you booked your ticket with a different ticket agent, please contact them directly.

I’ve just bought a ticket for Latitude, will I receive it in the post?

No. All tickets now bought for Latitude will be box office collection only.

How do I get to Latitude?

By coach

Big Green Coach are the official travel partner for Latitude 2018.

Return journeys are from just £35 and pick up locations include: Basingstoke, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Colchester, Coventry, Ipswich, Leeds, London Victoria, Manchester, Norwich, Nottingham, Portsmouth, Reading, Sheffield, Southampton.

By car

Please do not use a Sat Nav system to get to the festival as there are different routes into the site depending on the direction you are approaching from and whether you are being dropped off, a family ticket holder, a weekend camper, bringing a campervan, a day ticket holder or a guest. Please instead refer to the temporary festival road signage on your way to the festival site.

By car share

Car sharing is a fun, easy, cheap and sustainable way to travel! If you’re travelling to the festival by car, sign up to Latitude Liftshare to offer your empty seats and get FREE access to our priority car park to get you closer to the action!

Drop off/pick up

The drop off and pick up point is at yellow gate.

By train

If you’re travelling by train the most convenient station to arrive into is Diss.

Borderbus will be running a shuttle from Diss station to the festival site for £10 each way if booked on the day – save money by booking in advance. These will run frequently all weekend as well as on Monday. There are also shuttle buses running to and from Halesworth, Southwold and Kessingland.

I’m driving, do I need a car park pass?

No, car parking is included in the price of your ticket. Weekend and day car parking is separate to the campsites in adjacent or nearby fields.

What time does the car park open?

The car park is open from 14.00 on Thursday 18th July until 13.00 Monday 22nd July. The car park is staffed 24 hours a day during this period.

What time does the campsite open?

The campsite opens at 14.00 on Thursday 18th July and closes at 13.00 on Monday 22nd July. The campsite is staffed 24 hours a day and you can arrive at any time during this period.

I’m packing for the festival, are there any items I’m not allowed to bring?

There are certain items you are not allowed to bring into the arena or campsite. For example, you can bring alcohol into the campsite but not into the arena.

Visit ‘Essentials’ section for the full list of the items you can and cannot bring into the arena and campsite.

Is there any help in getting your camping equipment to the site?

Lighten the load by hiring a cart to wheel your gear to your camping spot! Price: £10.00 for 1 hour 30 minutes (minimum hire) then ADD £5.00 per 30 minutes thereafter. Cart-to-Camp is located near Tuttleswood Gate Entrance and Memorial (Family) gate entrance.

REMEMBER to bring a CASH ONLY deposit of £50.00 (fully refunded) PLUS £10 hire charge – no cards or other forms of ID are accepted – once the trolley is returned your deposit is returned less the hire charge.

What time does the arena open each day?

  • Thursday 18th July 17:00 – 03:00.
  • Friday 19th – Sunday 21st July 10:00 – 03:00.

Please note: Opening times and running orders are subject to change without warning, all changes will be shown at the Information Tents, published in locations onsite and posted online.

Where can I find set times for the festival?

Do I need to bring ID with me?

We have a Challenge 21 Policy on site and you may be asked to show ID. The following forms of ID are accepted:

  • A Passport (Not a photocopy)
  • Driving License
  • A Proof of Age Card bearing a PASS hologram
  • A Ministry of Defence identity card
  • A National identity card issued by an EU member state

Are there age restrictions?

Children

Children 0 – 4 years do not need a ticket. Children 5 – 12 years need a Child Ticket in order to attend. Teenagers who are between 13 – 15 years need an Accompanied Teen Ticket. These are available to purchase at the same time as regular Weekend Tickets. There are no Teen Day Tickets and an Adult Day Ticket should be purchased instead. Under 10s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over at all times.

Teenagers

Teenagers 16 and over must have a standard Weekend Ticket. All under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is over 18 years old and this adult must remain on site throughout the weekend. Those wishing to stay in the Family Campsite must have children 16 years or younger in the group.

Performance age restrictions

Latitude Festival will contain acts unsuitable for children. The Music and Film Arena is an over 15 Tent. It may also show films which are suitable for over 18s only.  However, there may be some films shown suitable for children at certain periods of the day. This will be noted on signage outside the tent.

The Cabaret Arena will contain nudity. The Comedy Arena will contain swearing. Other stages may feature material not suitable for children that we are unable to predict and classify due to the nature of live performance.

Are there any bag restrictions getting into the arena?

We do not allow bags larger than A4 size into the arena. We facilitate fast track lanes into the arena for those with small (bum bags or similar) or no bags.

Can I bring water into the arena?

You can bring in sealed plastic water/soft drinks bottles under 500ml or sealed cartons of juice. You can also bring in an empty reusable bottle for the water points.

Can I bring alcohol into the arena/campsite?

You are not permitted to bring alcohol into the arena. You can bring alcohol into the campsite, but not in excessive amounts.

What food will you be offering on site?

Street Feast, the organisers of London’s greatest street food markets, are bringing over 80 of the UK’s finest purveyors of street food to Henham Park to treat you to culinary delights from all corners of the globe. Visit our food section to discover some of the vendors coming to site.

How can I book a table at the Hothouse restaurant?

The Hothouse Restaurant is now fully booked, unless you would like to eat on Thursday evening, when they are open from 6pm-8pm. No need to reserve for Thursday evening.

How can I charge my phone on site?

Buy a new Powerbank from £24.99 and enjoy unlimited recharges throughout the festival free of charge. Or loan a Powerbank from Duracell to keep you powered when you need it. Find us on site at the Duracell tent or keep an eye out for the Bunny.

Can I book a treatment or workshop at SOLAS?

How do I book a swimming package with Swimtrek?

This year at Latitude you can take part in lake swimming, adventure swimming, stand up paddle boarding sessions and little lifeguard sessions.Visit our Swimtrek for more information and to book your session.
