BBC Introducing Line Up Revealed

BBC Music Introducing returns to Latitude, showcasing the biggest unsigned, undiscovered, and under the radar music across the UK from its magical woodland home in the Lavish Lounge Arena.

 

Tom Billington, Editor, BBC Music Introducing says: “We are so excited to bring live music back to our BBC Music Introducing stage at Latitude. The past 16 months have been so hard for so many in the music industry, especially for those just starting out. So this is going to be a very special weekend where we have the honour of showcasing the most exciting new artists from across the UK, with a few big surprises thrown in.”

Over  twenty  trailblazing new acts will perform on the  BBC Music Introducing stage this year. This year’s line-up is made up of brand new acts from all corners of the UK, including TAAHLIAH, a DJ and producer from Glasgow, Southampton’s Hyphen who was tipped as ‘The Future of British Asian Hip-Hop’ by BBC Asian Network and Hemai, a multi-instrumentalist from Birmingham, fusing soul and jazz.

BBC Introducing is proud to announce that headlining the stage are three female rising stars. BEKA performs her thought-provoking and soulful music on Friday, Saturday is indie pop wunderkind Ellie Dixon and Rachel Chinouriri brings her Zimbabwean-influenced sound to the Introducing stage on Sunday evening.

Joining them across the weekend is Cathy Jain, Strawberry Lace, PHOEBE ΔΧΔ, Eloise, kitti, Georgie, Bleach Lab, Freya Roy, Joseph Lawrence, Before Breakfast, Ishmael Ensemble and Ruth Lyon.

BBC Suffolk have also picked 3 special Introducing Acts to play on the Alcove stage. 18 year old singer songwriter Gabby Rivers is a rising star and brings her upbeat indie pop style music to the festival. She is joined by EL-Emcee, a profound Hip-Hop artist with a chilled, laid back approach to his music and the psychedelic Kyanos.

All these acts and more will be joining headliners Wolf AliceThe Chemical BrothersBastille ReOrchestrated, and Bombay Bicycle Club for cinch presents Latitude 2021. It takes place in Henham Park on 22nd-25th July.
