Curational partners who have trod the fern covered Introducing boards in the Lounge to date have included Radio 1Xtra and Asian Network. Audiences have enjoyed live broadcasts including BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball and Dermott O’Leary shows and BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends. Special guests have included Rudimental, Porij, Nubya Garcia, LF System and the Idles.
BBC Music Introducing have nurtured the careers of artists such as Ed Sheeran, Florence and the Machine, and Celeste, all of whom have graced the Obelisk Stage at Latitude in previous years. Since its launch in June 2007, over 1 million tracks have been uploaded to the BBC Music Introducing website and it now spans across BBC Radio 1, 1 Xtra, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 6, Asian Network, and across the local BBC Radio network.
