Theatre Of Food

Theatre of Food is a fully immersive stage offering cooking sessions and inspiring food demos plus panel discussions on several important topics within hospitality and food.


In 2021, Theatre of Food returns for its third showcase at Latitude Festival,
hosting the most inspiring culinary experts.

This year, the lineup includes the renowned Noor Murad and the Ottolenghi Test Kitchen; Kathy Slack from The Veg Patch; Charlotte Pike and her fermenting magic; local legend Richard Bainbridge; and many more cutting-edge cooks including Mallika Basu, author of Masala; Fellows Farm; Jennifer Irvine; Emma Crowhurst, and Homedods, all focused on showing how home cooking has developed.

Chris Young and the inspiring Real Bread campaign return to Theatre of Food, accompanied by Rebecca Bishop of 2Magpies bakery, Steven Winter of Bread Source and Cindy Zurias of 26DEG.

Expect plenty of lively discussions in the Theatre every day, including panels on – Heritage Grains and Pulses with Chris Young, Cindy Zurias, Johnny Spillings of Pennybun Bakery, Hodmedods, Nicola Hordern and Ben Mackinnon. The Flavour of Diversity, hosted by Mallika Basu with Noor Murad, Lulu Grimes, Grace Regan and Richard Bainbridge; and The Right to Food, hosted by Vera Zakharov, featuring Olivia Blake M.P., Imogen Richmond-Bishop, Dee Woods, Irina Martin and Sarah Woolley.
