Enchanted Garden

The Enchanted Garden is open to anyone with children under 16 only including Day Ticket Holders; collect a free wristband from the Info Caravan at the entrance to the main Kids Area if you’re not camping in the Family Campsite.

The Enchanted Garden is in the Family Campsite. Just moments from the Kids Area, it’s a little more relaxed, with space to spread out, chill out and have fun with some of our biggest activities from archery to slackline; grab a bat and ball, play in our play-houses, grab a hula hoop or enjoy vintage fairground rides. It also offers a family-friendly programme of activities daily from 9am till 4pm and is perfect for early risers, offering plenty to do without straying too far from your tent!

We’ll have information about our activities posted up at the entrance and our lovely staff are based at the EG Info Caravan if you have more questions!

Slings by the Sea

Slings by the Sea is a mobile sling library making babywearing safe, comfortable and affordable to all. Catering for babies and children from birth to five years old, they have a wide range of slings and carriers. Pop along for expert advice from the team including a professional babywearing consultant; they’ll be offering workshops where you can learn the basics along with sling hire so you can explore the festival with your little ones hassle free!

Colour Town Project

Colour Town is a stunning new high energy art space offering painting and craft workshops for children and their caregivers. It aims to bring colour and joy into people’s lives by providing a fun and relaxed space to play and create. Meet Vix, an artist with many years’ experience creating festival décor; she designed and built Colour Town and will be running daily workshops. There will be laughter, there will be messy play for all ages, and of course…there will be COLOUR!

Aardman Animations Model Making

Join expert model-maker Tandie Langton who started her life at Aardman Animations doing work experience on Chicken Run back in 1998! Aardman are the team behind so many classic family films, so we know you’ll enjoy this guided workshop to make your own classic Aardman character – there are 3 daily workshops making Gromit, Feathers McGraw and of course, Shaun the Sheep! Bookable on the day at the EG Info Caravan, with some space for walk ups.

Slackline

For the first time at Latitude, get ready to embrace the thrill of slacklining with Ru-Slack, the UK’s premier slacklining delivery organisation! Come and discover the perfect blend of tightrope walking and trampoline bouncing. With expert guidance, you’ll learn to safely master the art of slacklining – suitable for all levels.

Norwich Castle Museum

The team from Norwich Castle Museum are back, bringing history to life with fascinating historical objects and ‘Knight Club’ – learn how to fight like a knight before putting your skills to the test in 1v1 duels and team fights. Suitable for all ages and abilities (including adults!)

In The Thunderdome

Join Access Community Trust in their lovely geodome; a relaxed space for teens and families to take some time out, with sensory activities, giant games, arts and crafts. They’ll also be hosting a daily silent disco!

Mini-Zoo & Wildlife Display

It wouldn’t be Latitude without Bryan Paterson and his Mini-Zoo & Wildlife Display, offering families the chance to see – and maybe handle! – some fascinating and beautiful creatures, from meerkats to lizards, snakes to giant snails. Open 9am-4pm (psst! afternoons are best for quality time and less of a queue!)

Moving Canvas Face Painting

Moving Canvas Face and Body Art return with their team of amazing face painters from all over the UK; come along for festival designs, fantasy faces, superheroes, animals and more!

The Pink Flamingo Craft Tent

The Craft Tent is a perfect space for budding creatives. Weaving Wonders use soft natural materials to teach the ancient art of basket weaving to make a little basket, a pen pot or anything you fancy. The Heartstitch ladies’ flower baskets will be full to the brim with fun-sized craft projects, such as hand-stitched hearts, woven garlands and magic wands.

Rocketude!

Budding scientists and engineers, join Derek Langley and the Rocketude team, and make your own paper and tape air-powered rocket. Design it, colour it and then 3-2-1 launch it! You’ll be amazed how high they go, but hey, it’s not rocket science. Hang on – it IS rocket science…!

Woodcraft Folk

Waveney Woodcraft Folk will be offering parachute games, hair braiding, head dress making and nature masks. Try tin can cooking, medieval board games and an ‘egg drop’ challenge. Curious? Come and see!

School of Noise & Jam Hubs

Explore the world of sound and noise with School of Noise – where science and music meet. Play on a range of musical and scientific equipment including a theremin, omnichord, Chaldni plates plus real fruits and vegetables that can play music!

Or try out electric guitars, keyboards, bass and drums, all through headphones at Jam Hubs with the fantastic music tutors from Access Creative College. They’ve been booking the Inbetweeners Stage at Latitude for nearly a decade and have some very talented ex-students, so they know talent when they hear it!

Suffolk Archives

Join Suffolk Archives’ travelling exhibition trailer and explore your aspirations through the lens of Ipswich’s most famous son Thomas Wolsey. We’ll have crafts that consider his incredible journey to the heart of the court of King Henry VIII and which reflect your own ambitions for greatness!

The Canopy Stage

The Canopy Stage is open 9am-4pm daily, with comedy shows including ComedyClub4Kids, dance workshops, interactive games and and our weekend family social on Sunday morning; Bo Nanafana throw a great party so don’t miss it! Get ready for bubbles, a LOT of bubbles, bubbles of every size and made in every way, bubbles filled with smoke, steam, or even…you?! It’s going to be non-stop silly wild fun at Paris Bubbles dynamic daily show in the Canopy Stage. Don’t miss two of the largest smoke cannons in the UK and the chance to obliterate a huge tower of foam!

Access Community Trust will be hosting a family-friendly kids’ Silent Disco every afternoon. Join them in the Canopy Tent, bring your best moves and get ready to strut!

Join award winning children’s charity, Clowns Without Borders UK for a joyful, mad-cap adventure called Flip Flop and the Pop Up Tent about tight squeezes, bumpy buses and the magic of making new friends. They’ll also be running their Silly Sessions, teaching tiny ones everything about being a clown, from dressing up, clown magic, juggling, making red noses and more!

Joy In Dance is back with two different dance workshops; learn a new routine inspired by the Indian dance styles of Bollywood, or learn classic moves from the 1920s Charleston…with a festival twist of course. Everyone welcome!

Is it a bird, a frog, a monkey? Is it a predator alarm call or a mating song? Join Dr. David Jones, a tropical ecologist from the Natural History Museum, for Jungle Calling as he plays the calls of weird and wonderful animals from rainforests around the world. In this fast and funny family-friendly show, David challenges you to guess who gives a hoot and who is about to croak. Pick the right spot and you might win a prize!

Yoga

Join Carole Baker and her team for free yoga classes! Suitable for all levels 13+. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Not ideal for under 10s.

No need to book, just turn up! Feel free to bring a mat if you have one or you’re welcome to grab one that Carole provides onsite. Check onsite for timings.

FOXTALES: The Story of The Goblin and The Golden Goose

Hans the Storyteller and Reynard the Fox give a hilarious new telling of the Brother’s Grimm classic. When two brothers meet a goblin in the forest, a bizarre series of events unfold. There’ll be lots of jokes, ridiculous rhymes, mischief and nonsense.

Fox tales is a weird, wacky and silly treat for children presented by Laughing Fox Productions.

The show is suitable for those aged 5 to 105. Check onsite for timings.
