Start Your Day with a Swim in the Latitude Lake

Few festival mornings begin quite as beautifully as a quiet swim across the Latitude lake.

For 2026, the brilliant team from SwimTrek return to Henham Park to guide festival-goers through one of Latitude’s most unique traditions – an early morning open water swim before the site fully stirs into life. Whether you’re a seasoned swimmer or simply tempted by the idea of starting your day with something invigorating, these guided sessions offer a wonderfully refreshing way to experience the festival from a different perspective.

Morning Adventure Swims with SwimTrek

Join SwimTrek’s expert guides for a peaceful early morning swim across the Latitude lake. Taking place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings, these sessions are open to swimmers of all abilities.

Each guided adventure swim covers roughly 2km around the lake, giving you the chance to ease into the day with fresh water, calm surroundings and a small group of fellow swimmers. Whether you’re looking to refine your open water technique, challenge yourself with a longer distance, or simply enjoy the pleasure of freshwater swimming, the SwimTrek team will be on hand throughout.

A Different View of Latitude

Before the stages fill and the festival day unfolds, the lake offers a moment of calm and a completely different vantage point on Henham Park.

It’s a quietly special way to begin the day – a little adventure, a little serenity, and the perfect prelude to everything that awaits across the festival site.

Spaces are limited, so if a morning swim sounds like your idea of festival bliss, we recommend booking early.

With Love,

The Latitude Festival Team
