On Stage
ON NATURE CURATED BY MARTHA KEARNEY
You can’t wander Henham Park without noticing the sky open wider, the ground softer underfoot, the wild edges all around you. This year, Martha Kearney’s series of events with leading nature writers invites us to slow down, look up, and tune in to the stories the land wants to tell – through birdsong, old hedgerows, and the printed page.
Martha Kearney is a journalist and broadcaster with a deep-rooted passion for Suffolk and the natural world. From Open Country to This Natural Life on BBC Radio 4, Martha has been walking, writing, and recording in wild places across the UK. She’s been to the poles and back for the BBC, and closer to home, you’ll often find her on the fen paths of Redgrave and Lopham.
“I’ve been coming to Latitude for close to 20 years and love the way the festival has always celebrated writing as well as music. It will be brilliant to introduce so many talented nature writers to a broader audience.”
