‘Stop Making Sense’ Performed By Sonic Furs

Sonic Furs are the combined musical vision of Tom Duffy, Jessy Danner, Iain Faulkner, Justin Young & Ruairí Lenaghan. Hailing from Ireland and the US, this outfit is described by audiences of the band as “high energy indie pop rock”. The group writes music focused on two simple, yet fundamental goals: be upbeat and be danceable.

When the opportunity to perform one classic album of their choice came up at Electric Picnic in Ireland last year, with those two goals in mind, there was only one obvious answer- and the answer is David Byrne. Now, Sonic Furs are delighted to bring their take on Talking Head’s “Stop Making Sense” to Latitude 2025. As the sun goes down, the oversized suits will go on, and the synths will be cranked up.
