When someone says ‘psychedelics’ you might be forgiven for just thinking of magic mushrooms and The Beatles. But in recent years there has been a lot of talk in scientific circles and the media about the potential therapeutic benefits of psychedelics.
But how much of that is true? And what about the creative potential that psychedelics are thought to unleash?
To cut through the noise, Robin Ince is joined by epidemiologist, drug researcher and author of Say Why to Drugs, Dr Suzi Gage, neuroscientist and bestselling author Dr Dean Burnett (who recently attended and reported on the Wonderland psychedelics conference in the US where he tried pharmaceutical-grade medical ketamine for science) and artist, musician and ‘psychedelic adventurer’ Reggie Watts (Comedy Bang!
