FRIDAY:’Is That My Hat?’

Mole is struggling to find the perfect hat. After trying on big, spooky, and silly hats, Mole ends up creating the perfect hat for himself. In this workshop, Kev tells the story with the help of the audience and a whole lot of hats! Children can then unleash their own creativity to create their own hats.

SATURDAY: ‘B is for Blobfish’

Think you know your A, B, Cs? Think again! Kev explores a whole alphabet of creatures you may have never heard of. Featuring a host of animals that are unusual or unloved, our mini professors can also make new creatures of their own. What do they eat? Where do they live? You decide!

SUNDAY: ‘Get Moving’

Join Kev as he shares poems from his collection all aimed at getting children up, active and playing with words. Expect poems, puppets, dragons, riddles, music and plenty of audience participation as everybody gets the chance to become a poet! Sprinkle in some doodling and children can also get to illustrate their very own bookmark!

You can find Kev Payne’ Author Workshops in The Kids Area at The Hive and in The Enchanted Garden at The Canopy Stage.
