George Boomsma is a singer-songwriter known for his emotive vocals and soulful guitar playing. Also known for creating an intimate atmosphere in his live performances, his shows are a captivating experience—his pure, resonant voice paired with delicate guitar work draws audiences in, leaving a lasting impression. Over the years, George has shared the stage with celebrated artists like Richard Thompson, Scott Matthews and Katherine Priddy. His songs have found their way onto BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6 Music and RTE Radio 1. George has graced the stages of some of the most renowned folk festivals, including Cambridge Folk Festival in the UK and Port Fairy Folk Festival in Australia. As a session musician, George has toured internationally, and his television appearances include Later… With Jools Holland, Taskmaster, and a live performance on BBC2 at Glastonbury Festival 2023.
