Born and raised in rural Wales, CATTY has always had grand ambitions. Bringing her brutally honest, relatable lyrics and inconceivably catchy hooks, CATTY delivers music from a female, queer perspective that proudly explores same sex relationships in the modern world. The now London-based independent artist and songwriter burst back onto the scene in 2024 with her own brand of powerful pop which packs a punch. “I Dated A Monster” got its live debut at the Eventim Apollo as part of CATTY’s opening set for Dylan’s UK and IRE tour. Belting her heart out across the nation and welcoming new fans into her world, CATTY’s repertoire is packed with WLW anthems, including the tongue-in-cheek “I Don’t Miss You (I Just Miss Your Mum)” and the ’80s-inspired glam-rock of “Maybe All The Rumours Are True”.
Having amassed over 3.7 million streams on Spotify alone across 8 singles (and a further 41 million streams on other projects/co-writes, notably Dusky Grey), CATTY has cemented herself as one to watch in the coming years. She has featured as the cover of Spotify’s editorial playlists SALT and Fresh Finds: Pop as well as being featured in New Pop UK and New Music Friday’s for UK, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Turkey, Switzerland and Korea, Life Sucks, Next Gen Singer-Songwriter, sad hour and GLOW: UK and Ireland. CATTY’s success has carried into the world of radio, regularly being featured on BBC Radio 1’s ‘Future Pop’, where Maia Beth referred to CATTY as a “star on the rise”. All 8 of CATTY’s singles were placed on BBC Radio Wales’ A-List and “I Don’t Miss You (I Just Miss Your Mum)” was chosen as BBC Radio London’s “Rising Record”. She was featured multiple times on ‘Friday Night H’ (BBC Radio Wales) and also interviewed by Ian Watkins (Steps).
CATTY has taken her music across the nation, impressing fans with her powerhouse vocals and fun onstage antics. Her debut headline show sold out in just 15 minutes, leading to her upgrading the venue and selling out Oslo Hackney in just 48 hours. She has supported artists such as Stevie Nicks, Dylan and Beth McCarthy and performed at iconic venues such as BST Hyde Park, Eventim Apollo, Heaven and SCALA.
