Kingston upon Hull might not be the first city you’d associate with a rich musical heritage, but it has a quiet habit of producing artists worth paying attention to. Aimée Fatale is the latest proof of that.

Her debut EP A Modern Girl announced her arrival in style: a cinematic blend of 1960s nostalgia and contemporary alt-pop that has drawn comparisons to Lana Del Rey, Chappell Roan, and Nancy Sinatra, amassing 1.5M streams within just two weeks of release.

Live, she’s already proving impossible to ignore. With a sold-out headline show in Hull under her belt and support slots with Picture Parlour and Elliot James Reay, her reputation is building fast. Festival appearances at The Great Escape (Brighton), Get Together Festival (Sheffield), and Latitude Festival (Suffolk) are locked in for the summer, with more to come including a highly anticipated headline UK tour.

Her world extends beyond the music too. Designing her own clothes and merchandise, Aimée has built a vision that resonates, currently followed by 100,000 fans across TikTok and Instagram, with TikTok likes fast approaching 3 million.

With a second EP in the works and 2026 already shaping up to be a landmark year, one of Britain’s most compelling breakthrough talents is only just warming up.
