Dermot O’Leary returns to Latitude

Dermot O’Leary will play a Sunday afternoon DJ set in the woods at Latitude next weekend, returning to one of the festival’s best loved traditions in its 20th anniversary year.

His history at the festival stretches back to 2011, and he has returned regularly since, armed with a record box of indie classics and new favourites. It is a fixture that suits him. He started out behind the decks at Essex Radio, presented for London’s indie station XFM, and has been part of the BBC Radio 2 family since 2004, where he hosts the Saturday breakfast show and Alternative Sounds of the 90s.

Latitude is my home festival in every sense. I grew up just up the A12 in Colchester, and playing the woods is honestly one of my favourite gigs of the year. A Sunday afternoon under the trees, sun coming through the leaves, everyone singing along to records they'd forgotten they loved. There's no better way to round off a festival. And what a year to be back. The line-up is basically my record collection come to life!
