There’s truly something for everyone with the breadth of experiences our Family programming has to offer. With entertainment and education for families and children, we have an extensive line up of activities spanning across the Kids Area, Enchanted Garden, Camp Greenpeace.
Kids Area
The Kids Area is an entire festival in itself! Curated with love and imagination, and featuring a vast array of activities, it’s colourful, creative, wild, and adventurous.
ROARR! the UK’s largest Dinosaur-themed adventure Park from Lenwade, Norfolk, invites intrepid Latitude explorers to embark on ROARR!-some expeditions. Taskmaster Education Live the team behind Taskmaster present Taskmaster Club; test your skills of teamwork, problem-solving and creativity, all whilst having a whole lot of fun.
Based on the music and story of Janáček’s opera The Cunning Little Vixen, Opera North allows families to experience the magic of opera, storytelling and music, whatever your age. Fairyland Trust also returns to Latitude to teach children about nature and its conservation through crafts, making wands and wildflower crowns.
Waveney Woodcraft Folk will be offering hundreds of crafts activities plus their woodland base has a range of wilderness activities and green crafts nestled in the trees. Suffolk Libraries have a packed programme including a storyteller in residence, plus roving theatre. Authors and Illustrators also run interactive events in The Hive, our creative dome with its beautiful nature garden.
Enchanted Garden
The Enchanted Garden family activity area is situated inside the Family Campsite just minutes from the Kids Area, but is open to all families. It’s bursting at the seams with activities for families to enjoy together, from basket weaving to combat skills, face painting to a petting zoo!
The Canopy Stage brings a full programme of workshops including song & dance workshops, theatre shows, breakdancing, and West End songs and choreography, providing entertainment for the whole family. Get Medieval brings history to life with ‘A Knight Out’, offering activities such as Knight School where participants can learn combat skills, archery and engage in duels and team fights, alongside archery, crafts and object handling. Aardman Animations offers model-making sessions who have worked on beloved films including Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, providing attendees with anecdotes and insights into the world of Aardman while making their own classic Aardman characters to take away. Colourtown is a high energy art space you won’t want to miss! Designed, built and run by Vix Fuller, an artist with many years festival decor experience, your imagination will run wild in this inspiring colourful space.
The Bo Nanafana Family Social is the place for worshippers of music, dancing, dressing-up and divine decor – join their Sunday morning social. It wouldn’t be Latitude without Bryan Paterson and his Wildlife Display, offering families the chance to see – and maybe handle! – some fascinating and beautiful creatures, from meerkats to lizards, snakes to giant snails.
Camp Greenpeace
Camp Greenpeace returns with an abundance of nature-focused action and adventure! Come and join in a series of exciting activities aimed at fostering environmental awareness and outdoor adventure. From tree-climbing and bushcraft to woodland workshops and an eco-friendly cafe.
Get involved with the variety of workshops including den building, fire lighting, and campfire cooking with Rooted In Nature, alongside the chance to climb the highest trees, as the Big Tree Company rope you up then gently bring you back down to earth.
Grab a bite to eat in The Café at Camp Greenpeace! They offer a selection of beverages and snacks for adults to enjoy while watching their children participate in activities.

Inbetweeners stage with Access Creative College
Access Creative College Norwich returns with the Inbetweeners Stage. They’ve been booking and running the stage for over a decade, with students managing and engineering, with around 30 college acts performing.
This year the stage kicks off on Thursday with The High Points, a 4 piece funk, pop and soul band from Norwich who have been selling out shows across East Anglia.
Inbetweeners Stage remains the place to spot up-and-coming talent with even more ex-students featuring on the main music stages this year. adding to an already stellar list of previous graduates that includes Ed Sheeran, Let’s Eat Grandma and Mullally.
