Late Night on The Sunrise Arena
Nestled deep in the heart of the neon-lit Sunrise Arena is a hedonistic line up of mind-blowing talent from across the globe.
This year, Latitude heralds the return of 3D: Dave Seaman, Darren Emerson, and Danny Howells, legendary figures in electronic music. Their B2B set is set to be a highlight, showcasing their mastery across deep house, tech house, and techno, a testament to their influential careers.
DJ Paulette, recipient of the DJ Mag Top 100 Lifetime Achievement Award, will bring her decades of experience to the stage, promising a set that blends disco, house, and techno into a seamless dance experience.
Also gracing Latitude’s stages is Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, presenting tracks from his latest album Harmonics. His eclectic set will traverse UK garage, house, hip-hop, and disco, demonstrating his unique musical vision.
Meanwhile, Kousto will captivate with his distinctive blend of house and techno, drawing inspiration from global influences and earning acclaim from industry heavyweights.
We’ll further celebrate diversity with The Desi Takeover, honouring South Asian Heritage Month with a dynamic line up curated by Harpz Kaur. Featuring artists like Jaz Dhami, DJ Sachy, and Beats By Lions, this showcase promises to fuse music and heritage in an unforgettable experience.
Not forgetting the previously announced takeover by Transgressive, where exceptional acts such as The Waeve (Graham Coxon & Rose Elinor Dougall), Mystery Jets, Kinshasa’s KOKOKO!, Hastings’ HotWax, and a rare DJ set by local favourites Let’s Eat Grandma take to the stage.
Late Night Jazz on The Alcove
The Alcove, nestled within the heart of Latitude, will be transformed into a sanctuary of jazz for two unforgettable evenings. On Friday night, the stage belongs to J SPHYNX, a luminary in the UK’s jazz-infused R&B scene. Known offstage as Johnny Woodham, J SPHYNX has garnered acclaim through collaborations with the likes of Ego Ella May, Mr Jukes, Tom Misch, and Loyle Carner. Expect an evening of smooth, soulful jazz that transcends conventional boundaries.
On Saturday night, the spotlight shifts to Josef Akin, a talented composer, producer, and musician. Primarily a pianist, Josef’s music traverses genres such as jazz, soul, hip-hop, R&B, and rock while maintaining a distinctive sound of its own. His recent performances include sold-out shows at Ronnie Scott’s, appearances at Brick Lane Jazz Festival, and collaborations with Jazz Re, cementing his status as a rising star in the jazz and contemporary music scene.
In The Woods
In The Woods, the line up is just as stunning for those who like to party late.
Bastille’s duo Woody and Kyle, take to the decks. Bastille’s journey from chart-topping debut album “Bad Blood” to their latest release “Give Me The Future” has solidified their place as global music icons. With over 10 million records sold and a billion Spotify streams, Bastille’s influence spans genres, promising an unforgettable night of indie anthems and dance hits.
Acclaimed author Irvine Welsh will spin an eclectic mix in the woods, blending funk, soul, disco, and more. Expect a lively set that includes iconic tracks from the Trainspotting soundtrack, adding a touch of cinematic nostalgia to the night.
Virgin Radio Pride UK takes centre stage with Matt Horton, celebrating LGBTQ+ culture with a vibrant mix of pop-dance and pop-R&B music from the last two decades, ensuring an inclusive and electrifying atmosphere.
Abbie McCarthy, a respected presenter and DJ, brings her infectious enthusiasm to Latitude, showcasing her talent honed through BBC Introducing and her influential Good Karma Club. Her dynamic hosting style has graced major stages like Reading Festival and Glastonbury, making her a standout figure in music and entertainment.
Millie Cotton brings her seamless blend of 90s rave anthems and modern high-energy selections. Inspired by London’s dance culture, Millie’s DJ sets are known for creating euphoric moments and fostering inclusivity in the industry through her Women in Music podcast.
Zoe London, a seasoned DJ with a global footprint, rounds out the line up with her dynamic and eclectic sound. From Ibiza to major festivals, Zoe’s versatility spans commercial house, EDM, and pop remixes, ensuring every set is a unique experience.
Club Nights at TK Maxx presents The Comedy Arena
The UK’s best club nights take centre stage as our Comedy Arena transforms each night until the early hours.
Massaoke returns with the world’s biggest mass sing-along party, featuring a live band playing hairbrush anthems from across the decades. Guilty Pleasures invites attendees to throw their hands in the air and let pop music course through their veins, while Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! ABBA After Midnight is all about ABBA. Club de Fromage, with its zany characters, huge sing-alongs, audience interaction, and non-stop dancing also returns.
Afterparties on The Outpost
Join Aunty Jonny for the built-in afterparty Dancefloor Conversion Therapy. In their early 20s, Jonny helped start a church, went to Bible College and was preaching the Gospel in front of thousands of people, but since has become one of Australia’s most loved DJs, dance floor icons, queer party promoters and a disciple of Joy.
See cabaret at its finest from The Cocoa Butter Club, who’ll start the festival weekend off by serving a spirited soiree celebrating performers of colour, featuring burlesque, live music, drag, voguing, hula hooping and much more. The Yard, who are committed to showcasing work that dives into the wild, weird and wonderful parts of our past, present and future presents the ultimate after-parties Knickerbocker and Popola.
Disco Shed is back, bringing with them a troupe of their best DJs to keep your feet stomping all night long with their massive beats. Latitude’s beloved Shack will also return to keep party-goers dancing until the early hours amongst the Faraway Forest with their audio-visual bass-thumping extravaganza.
Late-night Theatre of the Waterfront Stage
Ancient Greek storytelling masters Wright & Grainger bring two late-night productions to our iconic Waterfront stage. Orpheus is a tale of impossible, death-defying love told through hair raising spoken word and soaring acoustic soul music. Wright & Grainger weave a world of dive bars, side streets and ancient gods.
And, in a Latitude first, the duo present a special performance of Helios on our Waterfront stage at dawn – a story about the son of the god of the sun, Helios transplants the Ancient Greek tale into a modern-day myth.
