Watch Idris Elba at Latitude Festival in the New Netflix Comedy, Turn Up Charlie

At last year’s Latitude Festival, we welcomed Netflix and Idris Elba to Henham Park to film the new Netflix comedy, Turn Up Charlie.

Created by Idris Elba and Gary Reich, Turn Up Charlie follows struggling DJ and eternal bachelor, Charlie (Idris Elba), as he’s given one last chance at success by doing a favour for a famous best friend. But, the favour, of course, has a catch as Charlie is given the heroic task of being a manny to his best friend’s wild child daughter, Gabby ( (Frankie Hervey).

Watch epsiode six of the Netflix comedy now to see Charlie, Gabby, her mum Sara (Piper Perabo) and Sara’s manager, Astrid, (Angela Griffin) at Latitude Festival. In the episode, Sara’s taken Gabby to Henham Park to bond with her daughter, but Gabs obviously has other ideas as she runs off with her friend/all-round bad influence, Hunter, and Charlie is left to pick up the pieces.

Filmed in Henham Park at Latitude 2018, you can take in beautiful scenes of the Waterfront Stage, the Faraway Forest and the Sunrise Arena, as well as many Latitude 2018 festival-goers – you might even spot yourself!

Turn Up Charlie, including episode six filmed at Latitude Festival, is available now to watch on Netflix UK.

Latitude Festival returns to Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk on 18th-21st July with headliners George Ezra, Stereophonics, Lana Del Rey, Michelle Wolf, Jason Manford and many more. Weekend and day tickets on sale now!
