It’s Love Theatre Day!
From ballet to comedy, Latitude arts booker Kirsty has curated her Top Five Theatre Picks this Christmas – including some that are local to the festival – to get you all in the festive thespian spirit.
What is it?
This Christmas, Latitude faves Figs In Wigs will reimagine the beloved tale of Mole, Ratty and Toad in a brand new, suitably festive production at Cambridge Junction. It’s sure to be an all-singing, all-dancing, and all-laughing extravaganza, and one for the whole family.

What is it?
Rebecca Biscuit and Louise Mothersole – also known as Sh!t Theatre – are also Latitude regulars, and this December they’re bringing you a remake of everyone’s favourite Christmas film: Love Actually. That’s right. The two of them are playing all the roles. By themselves. Guaranteed to be hysterical.

Camden People’s Theatre, London, 3rd-31st December.
What is it?
For something a little more traditional, Northern Ballet will be bringing the magical story of Cinderella to the Norwich Theatre Royal in a breathtaking reimagining of the classic fairytale. Prepare to be dazzled.

What is it?
Charles Dickens’ unforgettable Christmas Carol is given a new lease of life in a spectacular circus production from one of the UK’s leading circus companies, Lost In Translation. Expect the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future to be mixed with thrilling acrobatics.

What is it?
