Say #MyBodyisMine with ActionAid at Latitude 2019

ActionAid is returning to Latitude Festival for the
fifth year running, where they will be encouraging
everyone to join together, speak out
and say #MyBodyIsMine.

ActionAid‘s tent will be packed with fun and empowering activities, from designing your own #MyBodyIsMine tote bag to seeing how long you can ‘ride the wave of change’ on their surf simulator. Get a #MyBodyIsMine temporary tattoo, snap a selfie against their Insta-worthy floral wall and write your very own message of empowerment. They’ll also be selling limited-edition #MyBodyIsMine t-shirts, with 100% of the profits going towards ActionAid’s work.

ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Their dedicated local staff are ending violence against women and girls and helping change lives, for good. They won’t stop until women and girls are out of danger, out of poverty and on track to create the future they want.

Women and girls have the right to control their own bodies: to choose what they wear, where they go and what they do, without fear of harassment or violence. By supporting #MyBodyIsMine, we can reclaim our bodies, side with survivors of violence and shine a spotlight on violence against women and girls.Everyone is encouraged to take part in all the activities, to show their support for #MyBodyIsMine and women’s rights.
