YOUR 70+ MUSIC AND ARTS NAMES COMING TO LATITUDE 2019….

We are delighted to welcome back George Ezra as our Friday night headliner. As an up and coming performer George Ezra packed out the BBC Music Stage at Latitude back in 2014. He’s gone on to capture the nation’s hearts with his double platinum-selling second album, Staying at Tamara, and become one of the biggest artists of 2018. Speaking about what it means to him to play Latitude, George said:

“It’s no secret that I’m a big Latitude fan. I’ve been to the festival numerous times as a performer and punter, so to be coming back in 2019 as a headliner – five years after my last performance – is a real treat. The reception to my second album Staying At Tamara’s has been beyond my wildest dreams and I can’t wait to rock up in Suffolk to play the songs for everyone. See you there!”

Joining George at Latitude 2019 will be our Saturday night headliners Snow Patrol. The multi-platinum selling five-piece hold a very special place in Latitude’s illustrious history as the band originally headlined the inaugural Latitude in 2006.

With a staggering seven successful albums, you’ll be singing arm-in-arm in the Obelisk Arena to festival-sized anthems, like: ‘Don’t Give In’, ‘Open Your Eyes’, ‘Run’ and the classic ‘Chasing Cars’ plus their latest chart-topping single, ‘Wildness’.

In a UK Festival Exclusive, we are excited to reveal that ultimate Californian dream-pop sad girl Lana Del Rey is our Sunday headliner. It will be her first headline show in the UK since the release of her No.1 album Lust For Life.

Lana recently released three “fan tracks” to rapturous critical acclaim and is set to release her hotly-anticipated sixth album Norman F*cking Rockwell ahead of her performance at the festival. Lana’s atmospheric and ethereal magic is sure to bewitch you in the beautiful surrounds of the Obelisk Arena.

Late nights at Latitude are legendary, this year they’re set to be iconic as Underworld are closing your Saturday night with a very special performance. Rick Smith and Karl Hyde, have spent the last two and half decades headlining festivals the world over, directing the music for the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony and recently collaborating with Iggy Pop.

Now, they’re set to play out the classic pounding beats of ‘Born Slippy’ and other massive dance anthems for you in what will be an unforgettable set at Latitude 2019.

If that’s not enough to have you running for the hills of Henham Park, we’re also thrilled to bring you more huge music names and trailblazers. Get ready to have a musical adventure of your life as seven music stages will be buzzing to the eclectic sounds of Loyle Carner, Neneh Cherry, Sigrid, Tom Grennan, Cat Power, Khruangbin, Anna Calvi, Pale Waves, Baxter Dury, Walking On Cars, Primal Scream, Slaves, MØ, Gomez, Freya Ridings, Parcels, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Nadine Shah, Sons Of Kemet, and Julia Jacklin.

Our arts line up is second to none and this year’s bill is going to be more outrageous than ever. The Manchester comic and regular panellist on QI and 8 Out Of 10 Cats will be making a welcome return to Latitude fresh from his nationwide sell-out tour, Muddle Class.
