Klarna presents Latitude has always been a place where families can explore, create and discover together. For our twentieth edition, we’re delighted to reveal an adventure-filled family programme designed for curious young minds and their grown-ups.
Across three dedicated areas – The Kids Area, The Enchanted Garden and Camp Greenpeace – you’ll find a smorgasbord of various theatre, workshops, crafts, music, storytelling and outdoor adventures for children of all ages. Whether you’re travelling with toddlers, tweens or teenagers, there’s a world of discovery waiting to unfold – with everything (except the funfair!) completely free, families are free to explore as much as they like across the weekend.
Plus, Introducing Family Fridays!
Alongside our bustling family programme, we’re also launching Family Fridays – a brand new way for our family community to stay connected with everything happening at Latitude.
Every other Friday we’ll be sharing deeper dives into the festival’s family offering, spotlighting the activities, workshops and spaces that make Latitude such a special place for young festival-goers.
We’ll also be offering exclusive prizes, giveaways and experiences, just for our treasured community of Latitude families.
If you’d like to be part of it, sign up to Family Fridays below and be the first to hear what’s coming next.
We’ve always believed that Latitude should be as inspiring and welcoming for children as it is for adults. This year’s family programme offers so many opportunities for young festival-goers to create, explore and discover something new - whether that’s building the Greenpeace Rainbow Warrior ship, learning breakdancing, taking part in creative workshops or heading out on a nature adventure. Every activity is designed to encourage curiosity, spark imagination and give families the chance to share those moments of discovery together.

The Kids Area
At the heart of Latitude’s family offering is The Kids Area, open daily from 10am-6pm and packed with opportunities to play, learn and create. Expect theatre performances, storytelling sessions, dance workshops, bug-hunting adventures and hands-on creative activities for children of all ages. From puppet shows and musical theatre workshops to breakdancing sessions and interactive science experiences, it’s a space where imagination takes centre stage.
Families can also visit The Hive, a lively geodome hosting storytelling workshops, illustration sessions and poetry activities with authors and illustrators, while young nature enthusiasts can explore wildlife walks and minibeast safaris nearby.
For little Latitude-goers, The Loft Baby & Toddler Tent provides a welcoming space for soft play, feeding, changing and quiet time – a much-loved hub for families with the festival’s youngest attendees.
The Enchanted Garden
Located within the Family Campsite, The Enchanted Garden offers a gentler pace with a packed programme running daily from 9am-4pm.
Here families can dive into colourful art workshops with The Colour Town Project, relax with family yoga sessions, try crafts such as basket weaving and crochet, or take part in model-making workshops and rocket launches.
History also springs to life with Get Medieval, where children can learn knightly combat skills, try archery and explore medieval crafts. Meanwhile the Canopy Stage hosts performances, dance workshops and interactive games throughout the day.
It’s the perfect place to slow down, get creative and enjoy imaginative play together.
Camp Greenpeace
For families who love the outdoors, Camp Greenpeace offers a forest hideaway filled with nature-focused adventures.
Children can follow guided nature trails, try bushcraft skills around the fire, help build the famous Greenpeace Rainbow Warrior ship, or take on the thrill of climbing trees and soaring down a zipline with the Big Tree Climbing Company.
Set among the trees by the lake, it’s a space where young explorers can connect with nature, learn new skills and experience the joy of outdoor adventure.
With workshops, storytelling, outdoor exploration and performances waiting around every corner, there’s something for every young explorer at Henham Park. Explore the full family programme below and start planning your weekend.
