Throughout June and into July, weekly interviews will be broadcast as Instagram Live events, with The Independent’s journalists in conversation with some of the brilliant musicians, thinkers and comedians from our 2025 line up.
Each talk will focus on one of the main pillars we celebrate, interwoven with insight from The Independent’s expert journalists from relevant fields. Starting fittingly on the 9th June with Music, topics will range across Comedy (16th June), Debate (23rd June), Wellness (30th June) and Literature and Theatre on the 7th July.
The evening Instagram Lives, available to watch on both The Independent and Latitude’s channels, will allow festival fans who are eagerly awaiting the weekend to get to know more about what they can expect, whilst learning about some of the performers which make Latitude such a special event. All guests will be announced in the coming weeks.
The activity will culminate at Latitude itself, with a writer from The Independent in conversation with a much-loved, and soon-to-be-announced act on our Listening Post.
Latitude really is a special festival – it’s a truly unique event and a personal favourite of mine. We’re delighted to be a part of it this year, kicking off the Latitude magic with brilliant preview conversations in the run up to the festival and joining the action at the beautiful Henham Park. – Chloe Hubbard, UK Editor for The Independent
