Scarsdale Fats are a modern alternative rock band that combine the heaviest elements of the genre with moments of lighter, simpler songwriting. They use this sonic contrast to frame impressionistic lyrical themes which capture the absurdity of modern existence, and the allusiveness of meaning within it. The band’s sound retains a classicness which is both refreshing and slightly nostalgic.
