Raynor is a 19 year old indie-pop artist who hails from the small town of Peterborough just north of London, raised in a Zimbabwean family. From humming melodies in his head to bringing them to life on guitar at 13, music has always been more than a passion – it’s his natural language and creative calling.

Early on, he was drawn to artists like Michael Jackson, memorizing routines, songs, and random facts, fascinated by the discipline and craft behind great songwriting and performance.

In 2025, while sitting his final A-level exams, Raynor decided he would take his music seriously, realizing his songs deserved more than voice memos on his phone. When he began sharing his voice on TikTok, Raynor’s audience exploded with millions of views and a flood of fans in the comments clamoring to know where to stream his music. This momentum ultimately caught the attention of Safelight Records, an imprint of Darkroom Records (home to Billie Eilish, Waylon Wyatt, and John Summit), and his audience has continued to grow since.

His instantly recognizable voice lives in a lane of its own, carrying echoes of artists like Daniel Caesar and King Krule – layering into something distinctly memorable. Asked to describe it, Raynor keeps it simple: “FIFA music” – melodic, emotional, and made to be replayed.

Raynor’s music turns real-life experiences into infectious indie-pop anthems, packed with catchy hooks and fun, unforgettable lyrics. All of this comes through in his official debut single, “Brighter Than Before,” a raw and honest introduction that captures him at his most authentic. Drawing inspiration from Radiohead and Arctic Monkeys, Raynor is one to watch as he carves out his own distinctive sound that feels good, feels real, and is built to last.
