Rachel is a bioinformatician which means she applies computational tools, algorithms, and statistics to analyse complex biological problems. She is particularly interested in the hair cells of the inner ear in mammals, because who isn’t? Why are our ears different to bird ears? She is a research fellow at The Ear Institute at UCL.
