Poppy Ackroyd is an artist/composer from London. Classically trained on violin and piano, she makes music by manipulating and multi-tracking sounds from these two instruments. Poppy is known for her non-conformist approach to producing music and sounds, and her live sets show her method beautifully. A live show worth seeing for yourself.
Signed to One Little Independent Records (Björk, Ásgeir, Laura Misch), she recently released her new album ‘Liminal’, which as with her previous releases, she wrote, performed, recorded, mixed, and produced the album herself.
Poppy has previously played alongside neo-classical giants Nils Frahm and Hauschka, and has had music featured BAFTA winning productions, as well as in the New York City Ballet and National Theatre
