Raised in West London, Olympia Vitalis stands out boldly in the soul scene, unapologetically claiming her space. With seven years of experience singing in a gospel choir, Olympia has honed her unique improvisational style. She has already established herself in the soul genre, addressing topics close to her heart through her writing. Seamlessly blending her reflections on both significant and everyday matters, she adds a touch of subtlety and distinctive vocals to her work.
Olympia has received backing from BBC Introducing and earned the accolade of a ‘standout artist’ from NeoMusic Group. Notably, she was selected as a recipient of the Women in Jazz fund, a program supporting the growth of emerging jazz musicians. Olympia showcased her talent at the London Jazz Festival in late 2023, as well as recently being the face of Spotify’s ‘Fresh Finds UK & IE’ playlist and supporting jazz musician and producer Kiefer on the UK leg of his world tour in January. She has also just been announced on the April line-up of Mahalia Presents.
