Nav is currently Professor of Psychiatry and Population Health at the University of Manchester and an Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist within the NHS in the UK.
Nav’s research primarily focuses on the aetiology, treatment and prevention of suicidal behaviour. He also led the suicide component of an additional NIHR Programme Grant into Bipolar Disorder and is one of the world leaders on understanding suicidal behaviour.
