Faber Alt. & BBC Introducing Stage

LFay is a lyricist and vocalist from rural Norfolk, crafting a vibrant and genre-blurring sound that fuses old-school hip-hop, urban jazz, and neo-soul with elements of jungle, drum & bass, and breaks. Her music effortlessly moves between styles, bringing together diverse audiences while staying rooted in both musical heritage and contemporary underground culture.

Known for her sharp, expressive lyricism, LFay delivers playful yet insightful observations on the impact of isolation and youth experience. Her storytelling is both personal and relatable, balancing wit with emotional depth. Drawing inspiration from her free party and rave culture roots, her sound continues to evolve, with newer material incorporating textures and imagery influenced by the pirate radio scene of the 1990s.

Her upcoming third EP, LOUD MOUTH FM, set for release this summer, reflects this evolution. The project explores contrasts within her identity—challenging perceptions of her as a bold, outspoken figure while revealing a more introspective and self-aware side.

LFay has already begun to build significant momentum, with over 25 radio plays to date. Her music has been featured on platforms including BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, Capital XTRA, and BBC Introducing, where she has also been named a “One to Watch 2026” for Suffolk and Norfolk. Alongside her growing radio presence, she has performed at multiple showcases and festivals, including a support slot for the legendary Arrested Development.

With a pirate radio-inspired release on the horizon and new conceptual work already in progress, LFay is an artist firmly on the rise—bringing originality, energy, and authenticity to every stage and sound she touches.
