Born and raised in the West Midlands, Izzy has always written to figure out what she was feeling – filling notebooks and leaving scraps of paper around the house with poetry and random thoughts.
She started writing songs when her dad gave her a dictaphone aged nine. She hopes that the words she writes can help people like it helped her to write them.
Izzy is massively inspired by the 90s pop rock and grunge era, she grew up listening to Alanis Morissette, Bush, Nirvana and Mazzy Star.
