Essential Info & Opening Hours

Camp Greenpeace Hours: 10:00 – 19:00

Age Restrictions: All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Camp Greenpeace is a big and beautiful forest hideaway by the lake, offering nature-focused action and adventure! Greenpeace opens its Camp to let you into a world of action and adventure amongst the trees and within the Kids Area. We want kids to have fun, play and get back to nature through a variety of activities including a zip wire, bushcraft, tree climbing, puppet workshops and of course the tree top climbing nets.

The Nets in the Woods

Scramble, roll, and leap through the treetops! Nestled high among the branches, our incredibly popular nets and rope swings are the perfect place to make new friends and play around like a scurry of squirrels.

All guardians and parents can watch their kids jump around whilst enjoying a coffee or cold drink next to the nets in our Greenpeace cafe.

Age restrictions: Ages 6–16 (for the big nets).

Rooted in Nature: Bushcraft

Reconnect with the earth in our hands-on Bushcraft sessions. Take part in survival skills challenges, contribute to a community sharing of gratitude, or try your hand at natural crafts. Want to ignite your ancestral roots? Learn how to light a fire without a match and bake bread on a stick over the campfire. Come for a chat, or just “be” with a natural herbal brew with fellow nature lovers.

Age Restrictions: Ages 8+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Celebrating Latitude’s 20th Anniversary: Party with a Purpose!

Get ready for a burst of colour and creativity! Same Sky, the award-winning community arts charity based in Brighton, is joining the party at Latitude this year. They are bringing their magic to the Kids Area with hands-on puppet workshops. Bring the kids to craft their own masterpieces, all leading up to a spectacular, high-energy celebration of all our planet’s greatest wins!

To celebrate the Global Ocean Treaty come make a beautiful handheld fish you can swim through the site and be part of the greater shoal. Or champion our endangered insects and make a handheld flower with its own mini pollinator.

The Big Tree Climbing Company (Friday to Sunday)

Our friends from the Great Big Tree Climbing Company are back to rig kids up safely so you can scale one of our very special trees. Learn how to use a harness and climb at your own pace like a spider monkey or a sloth. Once you reach the top, whiz back down to earth on our high-speed zipline—just remember to hold onto your hat!

Age Restrictions: Ages 6–16. Morning slots are bookable at Camp Greenpeace; afternoon slots are open for walk-ins.

Build the Rainbow Warrior!

Located just a few minutes from Camp Greenpeace in the Kids Area, you can jump on board our tribute to the famous Rainbow Warrior ship! Our tool shed is fully stocked with hammers, saws, nails, wood, and bunting. With the help of Greenpeace volunteers, kids can learn real woodwork skills to help build our ship dedication.

Note: We love encouraging kids to use tools safely, so guardians must be present at all times.
