The Apollo Stage
Ami is an award-winning farm animal veterinary and speaker. A Liverpool University graduate, she holds a PhD in dairy cattle mobility, but most notably, was the first Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Advanced Practitioner in Camelid Practice (alpacas and llamas). She is the Senior Vice President of the Society of Practicing Veterinary Surgeons, championing inclusive practice culture and veterinary wellbeing in the UK. She was awarded fellowship of the RCVS in 2024 for meritorious contributions to clinical practice, due to her dedication to improving the health and welfare of camelids and providing education and training as to their care.
