Áine Deane

Áine Deane is a Cambridge-born independent singer-songwriter making heartfelt pop rooted in relatable storytelling. She first found an audience in 2021, posting original songs and covers from her university bedroom on TikTok, quickly building a dedicated following and earning support from artists including Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and Little Mix. Since then, she has surpassed 7 million Spotify streams, with her single Handmedowns named BBC Radio 1 Introducing Track of the Week. She has been championed by Mollie King on BBC Radio 1’s Future Pop since the start of her career, and by the BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire and London teams, who gave Áine her first festival slot on the Latitude BBC Introducing Stage, and she has since performed at Glastonbury Festival, Boardmasters Festival and All Points East. She has also toured with artists including Hozier and Maisie Peters, while building a growing live reputation through sold-out headline shows. Labelled Ticketmaster UK’s 2024 New Music Artist of the Week, Áine has just finished supporting Henry Moodie across the UK and Europe, and has a headline show in London in November.
