Ampersand Brew Co is a small independent family brewery founded in 2017 by the Hipwell family and originally brewing on the family farm. Now operating out of Diss in South Norfolk the brewery specialises in high-quality small batch brewing combining tradition with modern techniques across a wide range of beer styles. Ampersand was recently crowned the 2024 Champion canned beer of Norfolk as well as taking home 3rd place, showing how it has developed into one of the regional leaders in both ales and lagers across multiple formats. The brewery also operates an award-winning taproom onsite in Diss and a pub, The Cap, in the neighbouring town of Harleston.

Andy Hipwell is the production and operations manager at Ampersand Brew Co overseeing all brewing and packaging alongside co-founder Amy Hipwell who manages the sales, events and marketing of the business.
