WordTheatre® is set to captivate audiences in the Literary Arena with an international cast giving voice to great writing. WordTheatre is an innovative non-profit organisation dedicated to keeping the love of language and literature alive through the ancient tradition of oral storytelling. Since its inception in 2003, WordTheatre has been creating, producing and recording live events featuring literary works performed by world-class authors and actors at their salons in Los Angeles, New York and London.

For many, WordTheatre is their introduction to live performance and the film and television stars who join forces with the organisation to grab the attention of many. WordTheatre have worked with the likes of ‘The National Short Story Prize of the UK’. WordTheatre brought acclaimed actors and Hollywood heroes to the festival, including James Franco, Amanda Seyfriend, Gethin Anthony, Alastair Mackenzie and Diana Vickers. This will be their sixth year at Latitude and they will feature sexy, funny, moving, embarrassing and poignant contemporary short stories penned by the masters of short fiction in America and the UK and brought to life by a spectacular line-up of renowned actors, to be revealed nearer the time.
