DanceEast returns to Pandora’s Playground this summer with a series of dance sessions suitable for all the family. Founded in 1983 and gaining National Dance Agency status in 1994, DanceEast has grown from strength to strength, maintaining its commitment to the rural communities of East Anglia whilst developing national and international programmes.

DanceEast brings world class dance to the East of England, presenting a diverse programme of performances to widen audience experience. As well as working with established choreographers and companies, DanceEast encourages emerging artists by providing training, support and performance opportunities. DanceEast runs a variety of dance classes at the Jerwood Dance House on the Ipswich waterfront, and in Suffolk. The programme includes everything from Egyptian Belly Dancing to jazz, hip hop to pilates. From classes for people with additional needs through to professional masterclasses, DanceEast promotes dance as a pastime for fun and fitness for everybody. Details of this year’s classes at Latitude will be revealed nearer the time but rest assured, there will be something for everyone to get moving and shaking, even for the most reluctant of dancers.

Lots of workshops taking place all over the weekend including....

One hour flowing yoga class led by Helen Shepherd.
We’ll be blowing our crown chakras, stretching our camped out muscles and merging our eternal selves with the big pool of cosmic bliss that is Latitude. All levels welcome.
Pre-class reading and post-class book signing from Lucy Edge, author of Yoga School Dropout and The Handbag and Wellies Yoga Club.
11am on the Dance East stage Saturday and Sunday. Bring a yoga mat or a towel, and a shawl or blanket. A yogaclicks production.
